Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Education




Online Education is the form of Education that takes place over internet. It is also called as e-learning. Students attend online Lectures with the help of desktop or laptop computers, tabs or mobile phones .Although online Education is popular now a days. it has Both advantages and disadvantages.

Online classes are convenient because students can log in to the lectures from anywhere .whether they are at home .at a relation's home or on a trip ,they can join the class if they have a device and connectivity. online classes can be attended from the comfort of your home .So it saves time ,money and energy. You don't want to travel and face unnecessary risks.

Although online education has proved to be a boon in the lockdown period it has some disadvantages too.

Online learning lacks student-teacher interaction and as a results a student not properly examined and corrected. many students face technical issues like low internet speed or inconsistent connectivity. Some poor parents can't afford the devices for their children to learn .students can cheat easily if exam are held online. Many students find it difficult to focus on the screen for a long time and get bored. Those are the  main issues that hamper online learning.

finally I can say that online education can be good with some limitation But traditional  Education should not be replaced with online as it strengthens inter-relationships.

Dunhida is one of the best in my little sri lanka which is located in badulla District .the name implies the smoke like spray it creates as its water falls in to the rock pool below .the graceful nature of falling the huge flow of water is really enchanting and amusing .cascading through the lush green forest and splashing on the gigantic rocks and innocently moving ahead wetting and fertilizing an enormous area of badulla village .this massive volume of glistening water has some magic in it that calms the tensed mind. 🤩🤩
