COVID-19 Epidemic





The corona virus epidemic is the global health crisis that defines our time. The virus has been spreading to all continents except Antarctica since late last year. COVID-19 is a contagious disease caused by the recently Discovered corona virus. No one knew about this new virus and diseases until December 19 in Wuhan ,China.

Countries are competing to slow the spread of the disease by screening and treating patients, finding contacts, restricting travel ,quarantining citizens and cancelling large gatherings such as sports events ,concerts, weddings, parties, and school.

The first case of the virus in Sri Lanka was confirmed on 27 January 2020 chines Women from Hubei ,China. March 10 ,2020 the first Sri Lankan to be diagnosed with corona infection. He was a tour guide who worked with a group Italians. As of August 21,2021,there were 385,696 reported cases of  COVID 19 and 7183 deaths.

Globally ,212,311,329 cases have been identified and 4,440,083 deaths since the first COVID- infected person was identified in china between 21 August 2020.

Water is essential but common.it has so many formations.Among those waterfalls are the most fascinating natural resource we possess. Dunhida is one of the best in my little sri lanka which is located in badulla District .the name implies the smoke like spray it creates as its water falls in to the rock pool below .the graceful nature of falling the huge flow of water is really enchanting and amusing .cascading through the lush green forest and splashing on the gigantic rocks and innocently moving ahead wetting and fertilizing an enormous area of badulla village .this massive volume of glistening water has some magic in it that calms the tensed mind. 🤩🤩
